Paris Fashion Week, The Round Out and Up!: Louis Vuitton

I gotta say...I really liked this collection and I really love those boots!

I think Marc Jacobs did an excellent job this season at Louis Vuitton. It wasn’t the calibre of the models that really got to me. Yes, Kate Moss walked and her body looked great. (Albeit her face looked a bit rugged for someone her age. I guess her lifestyle is to blame but none the less she cleans up well for campaigns and that is all that matters.)

So enough about Kates, Naomis and Amber Valettas… let’s get back to the collection. It triumphed where Jean Paul Gaultier fell flat. It gave these aged style lines a very youthful edge. Sheers, hotpants, bondage details in corsets and shorts, jumbo sequined skirts and tops; large button details all completed by amazing shoes and tonnes of bags.

It was impressive to say the least right down to the set.
